Aluminum alloy door selection——thickness

Mar 31, 2023 Leave a message

Aluminum alloy profiles have the characteristics of high strength, strong corrosion resistance, and resistance to deformation. Why do some aluminum alloy doors take shape before they have been in use for a year? After analysis, under normal use, the deformation of aluminum alloy doors may be caused by the use of aluminum alloy profiles with too thin thickness. It is understood that aluminum alloy indoor doors available for consumers to choose from in the building materials market have various thicknesses such as 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm in profiles. Aluminum alloy doors with a thickness of over 1.0 millimeters have better strength and will not deform for 5-8 years under normal use. However, some small manufacturers cut corners to reduce production costs, even using aluminum alloy profiles with a thickness of only 0.6 millimeters to make bathroom doors. This type of aluminum alloy door is prone to deformation due to insufficient material thickness.
Reminder: The thickness of the profile directly determines the quality of aluminum alloy doors. When consumers choose aluminum alloy doors, they should not choose aluminum alloy doors with thin profiles for cheap reasons.
